Building a Stronger Future for Idaho City
The Idaho City Chamber Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to supporting the long-term vitality, growth, and well-being of Idaho City and the greater Boise Basin community.
Established in 2026, the Foundation was created to expand the Chamber’s ability to support meaningful community initiatives, educational opportunities, and development projects that directly benefit residents, families, businesses, and future generations.
While the Idaho City Chamber of Commerce focuses on business development, tourism, and economic vitality, the Foundation exists to serve the broader community through charitable, educational, and community-focused efforts. Together, these two organizations work alongside one another to strengthen Idaho City from every angle.

The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors composed of community leaders, including representatives from local government, education, business, and the community at large. This ensures that the Foundation remains focused on the real needs and priorities of Idaho City.
The Board consists of nine positions, including an Executive Board and community representatives, working together to guide the Foundation’s mission and stewardship.
