Cowboy Campground LLC

Cowboy Campground at Legacy Park, is a nonprofit 501c3 trust, operated as Cowboy Campground less than a mile North of Idaho City. 

 

15 wooded acres, large sand arena, 2 roundpens and large areas for gatherings for work and play. Just an hour drive from Boise.

 

Not only are we hosting great Youth and Horsemen events, Legacy Park has a gathering Courtyard with a small Chapel for weddings, celebration of life & other events. Rent the Courtyard with the Western Themed Buildings for an entire weekend, or a day. We allow dogs, horses and great folks to enjoy our great park & campground.

 

Rustic camping still, but more amenities are always in the works. Water is onsite, limited hookup services at this time. 

 

We can accommodate any size of vehicle/camper/trailers.

Currently we have approx. 60+ campsites, 25 with double or triple paddocks for equines. Picnic tables and fire rings are also part of it.

 

The lower tier (along Hwy 21) is for motorized users, the upper area is reserved for horses and campers without motorized toys, or you may reserve the entire park for your big event. 

 

Shared walking trail to town. Kids Playground next door. The Springs are just a short 3 mile drive away. Rodeo Ground is adjacent to our park also.
